Attire for Class
Please: No outside footwear,
and no food or drink. All Tap
Students 7 years old & up will require their own screwdriver
Girls:
A black leotard and pale pink tights. Do long hair in a bun;
short hair back with a black cloth hair band. Precious
time is wasted if hair is not done ahead of class time!
Ballet students need pink ballet
tights and pink ballet shoes.
Teen Girls:
may wear black jazz pants with a black dance top or leotard.
Boys:
A plain white T-shirt with plain black shorts or pants.
Note: Students may not be admitted
to class without correct attire or hair done as requested.
Adults:
wear easy-fit, layered dance/gym-wear with black tap shoes
or black jazz sneakers.

Santa Claus Parade
Nov. 21 at 5:45 PM
Again this year it will be
TELEVISED on CHEK 6
from 6-7PM!
We will meet at the main entrance
of the Provincial Museum at 4:45 PM. Please don’t be
late as it is a crucial hour for rehearsal/spacing. At 5:45
PM we will proceed up Government Street to Chatham Street
ending at Sports Rent, where Parents may collect their children
by 6:45PM.
All dancers from “BroadStreet Dance”
who are 7 years old or over, and who have mastered the required
“steps” are encouraged to take part in this Festive
event!!! It has been a highlight the past 16 years…the
smiles of pleasure on the faces of both the audience and the
participants is indescribable!!! Costume is as follows:
Black Tap Shoes, Black jazz pants, *Studio sweatshirts (to be
ordered and paid for before October 30 - cost $40 and $45),
BSD scarves, and Red accessory i.e. gloves, hat, ribbons, earmuffs
etc. SMILES!!! Red lips and blush. Steps will be taught in class
from now until the parade!

| Watching Days
Nov. 25– 28
Parents
and friends are encouraged to come to watch our dancers during
watching days! Bring your camera or camcorder and capture these
wonderful moments on film!
Students are asked to watch classes other than their own to
get more of an understanding about what happens at BSD!!!
